Work Days & Holidays

The Business Days & Holidays tab under Settings lets you define which days count as business days in Chateau. This calendar is used exclusively to calculate business-day leak response deadlines. It does not affect work capacity calculations.
- Note: Editing Business Days & Holidays requires the Settings and Resource Management role.
Business Weekdays
Toggle each day of the week on or off to indicate whether it counts as a business day. At least one day must be enabled. Days that are toggled off are excluded from business-day leak response deadline calculations only.
Holidays
Holidays are excluded from business-day leak response deadline calculations. To add holidays to your calendar:
- Add US Holiday: Select from a list of standard US federal holidays. Recurring holidays apply automatically every year.
- Add Custom Holiday: Define a company-specific holiday by name and date.
Added holidays appear in the grid with their holiday name, recurrence, and next occurrence date.
