Chateau Roles

The following list refers to the various roles referenced within your database.
| Term | Definition |

| Administrator | An Administrator of a database or security group. They can add, edit, or remove other users’ assignments to that database, or user’s membership to that Security Group. They can add and remove other Administrators from that database or Security Group from their company. Note: Being an Administrator does not assign any of the other roles or privileges. If you want an Administrator to have additional roles, you have to specify them in Majordomo. |
| Chateau Access | Chateau Access allows the user to log in to Chateau and grants access to all general features not restricted by another role, including: • View home and dashboard • View and query for components • Manage tours • View and search inspection and attempt records • Manually add inspection and attempts • View leaks and DORs • View and run reports • View information under Resources • Add analyzers and cylinders, and import calibrations • View all porches and process owner's porch, adjust pace settings • Import OGI inspections, add sensitivity checks manually and audit OGI pictures • View scout maps • View facility data • Change all options under Safety and Field Events, and all settings except Picklists and Emissions. Other roles (e.g., Processor, Rules Management, Leaks/DOR Management) are required for specific management actions. |
| Technician | Can be assigned tours and are in the technician list that Chateau Mobile uses to synchronize with Chateau. |
| Processors | Can record component property changes in Chateau and Chateau Mobile. |
| Suggesters | Can suggest property changes in Chateau and Chateau Mobile. Suggesters appear in the list of suggesters, and then a processor can select. If the processor is also a suggestor, then their account is used as both a processor and suggestor by default. |
| Approver | Can approve MOC suggestions made in Chateau and Chateau Mobile. Approvers can also auto-approve any component property change they make. |
| Alerts Management | Has the ability to turn on and off audits for the Administrator’s Porch, as well as adding and removing emails and users from Audits. Additionally, this role controls editing and adding new leak alerts, and adding and removing emails from Leak Alerts. |
| Delete Inspections and Repair Attempts | Allows user to delete inspections and repair attempts. |
| Emissions Management | Has the abilities to edit, delete, and add emissions models. |
| Leaks/DOR Management | Can edit and close leaks and DORs. |
| Settings and Resource Management | Allows users to add and hide values in Picklists in Settings / Picklists as well as add and edit values in Resources / LUnit, Streams, Chemicals, and Cooling Tower Tools. In Resources / People, this role allows users to add and edit certifications, and edit Milestone intervals. This role also controls editing of the business-day calendar under Settings / Work Days & Holidays. Over time, more Settings areas will be managed by this role. |
| Rules Management | Has the abilities to add new rules, changes rule assignments, edit new rules, and unapply rules. In addition, this role controls edits and additions to the Quick Repair module. |
