Cameras that don't connect wirelessly

Any OGI camera can still be used with Chateau without a wireless connection. The technician records on the camera as usual, and the media goes into Chateau afterwards on the web. This works for OGI inspections, OGI sensitivity checks and AWP surveys. There are two ways to do it:

MethodHow it worksBest for
ImportDuring each inspection or sensitivity check, the technician taps Tag Photo or Tag Video in Chateau Mobile to mark the time. Back in the office, copy the files from the camera's SD card or USB connection to a folder, then use OGI → Import in Chateau. Chateau matches each file to its inspection or sensitivity check by time.Batches of inspections and sensitivity checks from a day or a tour
UploadAttach a photo or video file to one specific record in Chateau. For inspections, use Upload Image or Upload Video in the OGI Inspections grid. For sensitivity checks, use the same buttons in the Sensitivity Checks grid. For AWP surveys, upload the survey video(s) to that survey.One-off additions, replacing a file, or AWP survey video

For AWP surveys with a camera that doesn't connect, the technician records the survey on the camera and completes the survey in Chateau Mobile as normal. A short survey comment naming the camera's file names makes the video easy to find later. The survey video(s) can then be uploaded to that survey in Chateau.

Copy files straight from the camera to the computer for Import. Emailing or re-saving them changes the file dates Chateau uses to match them.
