What's New
Chateau
Porches
New AWP Components Without a Window audit. This Owner's Porch audit lists each AWP component that no work schedule assignment gives an M21 window. Until it has one, its annual M21 is scheduled in the last window of the year. The audit turns on automatically when your database saves its first work schedule assignment. Learn more about AWP Frequencies and Work Schedules.
New Work Schedule Conflicts audit. The new Work Schedule Conflicts audit in Owner's Porch lists each active component that two work schedule assignments give different preferred schedules for the same inspection type and frequency, showing both assignments and the schedule each one prefers. A listed component has no preferred schedule for that inspection type and frequency and is scheduled on its compliance window until the conflict is resolved, and it leaves the audit once it is. The audit turns on automatically when a database saves its first work schedule assignment.
Tours & Scheduling
New Work Schedule assignments (first release). The new Assign Work Schedule tab on Rules sets when a group of components should be monitored, for each inspection type and frequency. This first release is built for AWP: it's where you set each unit's annual M21 window for the AWP Bi Monthly and AWP Monthly frequencies. Learn more about AWP Frequencies and Work Schedules.
For other frequencies you can already choose a preferred month or quarter: Chateau holds that work on the Schedule until then with a PREFERRED tag, compliance due dates don't change, and an inspection done early still counts. A follow-up release will add a Preferred Due Date to the Schedule, tours and the Components grid, and let Auto Tours build by it. Saving assignments requires the Rules Management role.
New PREFERRED and COMPLIANCE tags on the Schedule. When work on Tours > Schedule is held, the Hold Until After date now shows why:
- PREFERRED means the work is waiting for its work schedule month or quarter. It can still be built into a tour early, after you confirm.
- COMPLIANCE means the work isn't eligible yet, because the minimum days between inspections haven't passed or an AWP window hasn't opened. It can't be built into a tour until that date.
A legend above the grid explains both.
Resources
New Merge option for duplicate cylinders. On Resources > Cylinders, select a duplicate cylinder and choose Merge to move its calibrations, drifts and documents onto the correct cylinder. A merge cannot be undone, and duplicates that already exist are not merged automatically.
Reports
New Run Date column on the emissions run grid. Reports > Emissions now shows when each emissions run was recorded, which helps when comparing runs after an emission model changes.
New CEDRI Subpart U periodic report. Chateau now produces the figures for the §63.506(e)(6) periodic report that can be derived from your data, in the column order EPA's workbook expects and ready to paste into your own copy of the template. It covers the Equipment Monitored, Pressure Relief and NOCS Equipment sheets, along with supporting data showing how each figure was derived. Entries requiring the preparer's own determination are left blank for completion. Chateau does not submit to EPA; filing is still done through CDX.
Rules
New AWP frequencies. AWP Bi Monthly and AWP Monthly are now available in the M21 Frequency list on Rules > Manage Rule Specs. Each schedules an OGI survey every period and one annual M21 in a window you set on Rules > Assign Work Schedule. If you'd like help updating your rules, reach out to LDARtools Support. Learn more about AWP Frequencies and Work Schedules.
OGI
New AWP area surveys in Chateau. When Settings > OGI Settings > Testing Protocol is set to AWP, OGI has a new Surveys tab listing each survey checked in from Chateau Mobile. Open a survey to see its inspections, survey videos, components not monitored and a map of the route walked. Learn more about AWP Area Surveys.
Chateau Mobile
AWP
New AWP area surveys on Chateau Mobile. Technicians can start a survey on an OGI tour at an AWP site, record the survey video, record leaks, and mark components Couldn't Monitor or Leave for Later. Completing the survey creates the passing inspections, and the survey uploads to Chateau at check-in. Learn how in Recording an AWP Survey (Chateau Mobile).
Bug Fixes & Improvements
Chateau
Leaks
Fixed DORs left out of reports after changing Date Approved. (Already Deployed on 10/22) When Date Approved was changed to an earlier date, the DOR's coverage still started on the day it was entered, so reports covering the months in between, such as DOR Summary and Periodic Inspection Summary, left it out. Changing Date Approved now moves the DOR's coverage with it. After you save, a message confirms that the DOR counts in reports from the new date, including periods already reported, and that a DOR inspection scheduled from the old date is removed and re-scheduled after the nightly rules run. DORs whose Date Approved had been moved by closing them from the Open DORs grid were restored to their original dates.
Porches
Fixed completed inspections listed as missed. (Already Deployed on 10/22) When a component had both a rule-scheduled request and a request added by hand for the same inspection reason in one period, an inspection done on the hand-built tour could leave the component on Missed Inspections Scheduled by Rules after the period ended. A completed inspection no longer appears as missed, and entries already on the audit were cleared.
Tours & Scheduling
Fixed a second retest staying due after the first retest closed the leak. (Already Deployed on 10/22) When a retest was scheduled by hand and sent to a technician's handheld, and a second retest was then scheduled for the same component, the technician could complete the first retest and check in. The passing retest closed the leak, but the second retest request was not satisfied, so the component stayed due and on the Schedule. Now, when the last open leak on a component closes, its open Retest, AVO ReTest and OGI ReTest requests end. Retest requests already left due this way were satisfied by the passing retest.
Fixed Auto Tours "This Week" building no tours. (Already Deployed on 10/15) A weekly Auto Tours build set to pull anything due within This Week and run on Sunday looked at the Monday-to-Sunday week that was ending, found everything already past due, and built no tours. This Week now means Sunday to Saturday, the same week weekly inspections use, and a This Week build must run on Sundays. Existing This Week builds were moved to run on Sunday.
Fixed an error when naming a tour over 100 characters. A tour name longer than 100 characters could not be created and the page showed an error. Chateau now shows "Value exceeds the maximum length of 100 characters." under the Tour Name box and keeps Build Tour unavailable until the name fits. Tour names built by Auto Tours are cut off at 100 characters.
Components
Fixed Tag Search results opening with no columns. Searching for a tag used by more than one component, including historical components, could open the results showing rows but no columns.
Fixed the Components grid emptying after Multi-Edit. After saving or canceling a Multi-Edit from the Components grid, the grid came back empty with its query cleared, and the other open tabs reloaded. The grid now keeps its query and shows the saved values, and other tabs are left alone. Changes saved for approval show their new value once approved.
Fixed backdated profile changes missing from history and reports. (Already Deployed on 10/15) When an approver changed a component's profile, such as to DeActivated or TUPurged, with an Effective Date earlier than the component's most recent edit, the change was left out of the component's MOC Porch history and out of reports for that period, such as DeActivated Components. The change is now recorded on its Effective Date, and changes already saved this way were corrected.
Fixed rule names overlapping the Regulation column. On a tag's Rules tab, long rule names without spaces could print over the Regulation column when a leak tab was open in the same session.
Component Queries
Removed the "In plain English" sentence from query builders. The sentence under the query blocks that restated a query in words is gone. Building and saving queries works as before.
Resources
Fixed duplicate cylinders appearing after a cylinder was edited. After a cylinder was added, edited or corrected on Resources > Cylinders, the next SpanBox upload could create a second copy of it, and drifts recorded on that copy could be missing from Resources > Calibrations. Uploads now stay on the cylinder you edited, and duplicates that already exist can be combined with the new Merge option. We will correct the affected cylinders after this release.
Rules
Fixed Hold Until After dates that were too late. (Already Deployed on 10/22) When a frequency uses Min. Days Between, an inspection that did not satisfy the regulation, such as a voluntary survey from a detection event or a survey for a different regulation, started the minimum days count from its own date, which pushed the next request's Hold Until After date later than it should be. Chateau now counts from the last inspection that satisfied the regulation. Requests whose Hold Until After dates had been counted from the wrong inspection were recalculated. No inspection was missed because of this.
Help
Fixed the Help Menu losing its buttons, FAQ list and release notes. In the Help Menu, Ask Sherpa, Support, Search and Cancel showed as plain text, Frequently Asked Questions listed nothing, and the release notes popup no longer appeared after sign-in. The buttons, FAQ links and popup are back, and the popup returns at each sign-in until you choose Don't show this again.
General
General bug fixes and stability improvements.
Chateau Mobile
General
Fixed Chateau Mobile closing when opening a very large picklist. On a database with a picklist of thousands of values, such as Piping Segment, tapping the field while adding a component closed the app. The picklist now opens normally, and its filter box narrows the list.
Fixed requirements showing blank on Chateau Mobile. When a rule created a requirement with an Inspection Why that was not turned on for that inspection type in Settings > Picklists > Inspection Whys, the tag came to the handheld with no requirement and opened on the AVO tab, and the inspections done on it did not satisfy the requirement, so the tag stayed on the tour. The requirement now shows, and the tag clears after one inspection of the right type.
